I wonder what material the mufflers are made out of. Cold roll steel will rust very quickly. Hopefully, Stainless steel.
That's good. Stainless is the only way to go. I hope you like the sound of your Maganflow mufflers. I've never had the opportunity to use that particular brand. Vet
I have long case Magnaflow 14264 Mufflers. Lazy S 3" offset in and out. They are like the Walker 17749 2 1/2" mufflers I had before. Quiet at idle and cruise, but they scream when you get on it. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...3qtYIZoLaAAMsGGHR9O2-c26tEx8C5YgaAqQ9EALw_wcB
I second that. With the M/T Headers the Walker Dynomax muffs are outstanding. Like a quiet, sleeping child at speed but like an angry, screaming Karen at a crowded McDonalds when you hammer it.
I wonder if they are out sourced to different manufactures? I just found out that 409 stainless steel is magnetic. I've worked a lot of stainless alloys, not 409. All 400 series stainless steels are magnetic. 300 series are not magnetic, but are Non-corrosive and polish up to a mirror finish. Vet
